Kickboxing is a high-intensity exercise. The kicking and punching moves of the exercise help to improve balance and coordination. In addition, people who participate in kickboxing can also expect to improve flexibility, cardiovascular health, endurance and strength. It incorporates the same kicks and hand-strikes as Taekwondo plus upper body and abdominal strengthening exercises.
We’ve also incorporated conditioning into our kickboxing classes to provide variety including jump rope, free weights, obstacle courses and other exercises geared to providing strength and conditioning.
